Third Weekend Around, Crowds Flocking to the Winterfest Brooklyn Museum
67,000 people came out to participate in cultural programming and winter attractions and check out the local artisans — and now attractions are free for all
NEW YORK, Dec. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Since its kick off on Black Friday, Winterfest has the Brooklyn Museum grounds pulsed with activity, drawing bustling crowds to an outdoor gift shopping experience, daily live performances, and a wine and beer tent. Visitors can now enjoy the attractions for free and wander around the tree lights maze, warm up inside geodesic dome, and meet Santa.
“We had two very good weekends at Winterfest as families and adults from the neighborhood and also from as far as Connecticut came to visit. We are looking forward to next few days in the event,” Kistina Rasina from Alma Knitware, a vendor at Winterfest said.
